2025 Āpōpō Asset Management Excellence Awards Finalist.

  • Āpōpō is the professional association for Aotearoa New Zealand’s infrastructure asset management community.
  • Project Reclaim was selected to be apart of the 2025 awards. Project reclaim involved the remediation of three coastal fill sites (Hampden closed landfill and uncontrolled disposal sites on Beach Rd) in the Waitaki District. The waste and contaminated material from the coastal sites was removed to a purpose-built cell within Palmerston landfill. This provided a long-term sustainable solution, removing environment risks of waste material entering the marine environment as a consequence of coastal erosion.
